Gain Insight, Take Action, Value
Diversity
The Discovering Diversity
Profile® helps employees
learn how they respond to workforce diversity and where
they need to develop increased understanding. Organizations
use it to limit the influence of stereotypes, reduce
conflict, and embrace diversity. It is the foundation
on which effective communication, acceptance, and teamwork
can be built. This self-directed learning instrument
provides a safe, confidential way for employees to explore
the complex issues surrounding diversity in four key
areas:
- Knowledge: discover what they actually
know about differences as well as the source of that
knowledge. Stereotypes and information are measured
here.
- Understanding: explore their willingness
to put themselves in a position to feel what others
may be feeling. Awareness and Empathy are measured
here.
- Acceptance: examine their patience
and regard for different beliefs and behaviors. Tolerance
and Respect are measured here.
- Behavior: assess how they act out
their attitudes toward others, their flexibility and
openness in dealing with others and their patterns
of interaction. Self-awareness and Interpersonal Skills
are measured here.

"You
are a very good facilitator and guide through
the DiSC processes. I completely
agree that too much kindness by an S type
Agent pattern could become a weakness.
Thank you for catching this early in my
managing career and what a difference it
is going to make. I owe you."
