Attraction: How to Get What You Want to Come To You(posted: 02/22/2010)
![]() Is your team getting what it wants and needs for organizational success? Are the individuals on your team doing what it takes to get what they want and need for individual success? Most importantly, as a leader, are you demonstrating what it takes to get what you want and need? Are you modeling the behaviors it takes to get what you want to come to you?
Here are some key ingredients for attracting into your life what you want:Get Clear on What You Want and WhyIt's not enough to know what you don’t want. You can’t get what you want until you know what that is!! Getting crystal clear is where the magic of attraction all begins. As Napoleon Hill wrote in his groundbreaking classic Think and Grow Rich:
Imagine ItSee it as happening. Conscious change is brought about by the two qualities inherent in consciousness: attention and intention, writes Deepak Chopra.
Keep Yourself ReceptiveExercise, eat healthily, play, and relax. Stress, exhaustion, sluggishness, etc., can all interfere with attraction. Through taking a day off to relax rather than working frantically may seem as difficult as running the iron man and breaking every record, it can be just what is needed. Listen to Your Intuitive NudgesAttraction isn't about sitting back and waiting for it all to come to you. Action is always required to meet goals and make dreams come true. Your job is to ask for what you want, and then to act on the inner nudges you get to do things, like make phone calls, write letters (no I did not say emails, but real letters with postage); visit a certain person, or whatever. Don't worry if your "nudges" don't make immediate sense. The "why" will show itself later. Surrender Control
Trust that the outcome will be just right.
What is your dream? What do you want? So whether it's a job promotion, landing that huge client or buying a new house, claim your dream. It's yours if you want it. What other ideas can you share about getting what you want to come to you?!!
